Frequently Asked Questions

Dates, Guest Count & Rain Dates:

After you have decided on a date, give us a call at 978-921-2272 to make your reservation.
For smaller events an e-mail confirmation along with a deposit would secure the date.
For large events, we will need A signed contract along with stated deposit.
Upon receipt, we will return a copy of the signed agreement.

You may postpone your event if you let us know by 6:00pm two days before the event. You can reschedule based on availability.

We all get wet unless you have made suitable protection for your guests.

10 days before your event by phone or e-mail. At this point you cannot decrease the guest count.

After you give us your final guest count, 10 days before your event, you can add to the guest count by contacting us but you cannot decrease the number at this point.

Set-Up & Serving Times:

Times vary depending on service options. For delivery & set up we arrive approximately 30-60 minutes prior to your serving time? For full service usually 60 minutes prior to your serving time but may vary depending on menu and guest count.

Please do not confuse the serving time with the arrival time of your guests. If you are planning to have cocktails or appetizers, we suggest a serving time of 1 hour after the arrival time of your guests. It is important to provide our staff with the correct serving time so that our staff can have your food properly prepared and hot when you’re ready to have it served.

This depends on the guest count and if you have requested more than one buffet/serving line.

The buffet/serving line will be open for 1 to 1&1/2 hours, depending on the # of guests.

General Preparations & Info:

A suitable site, two 8’ buffet tables (unless otherwise specified) on a level service and hungry people who really want to enjoy some delicious BBQ!!!

Our staff would appreciate having adequate access to the buffet/cooking area which includes a parking spot as close to the area as possible. A level surface for the buffet tables. If it is at night, adequate lighting for the buffet/cooking area.

Quality food, disposable plates and flatware, serving utensils and chafing pans. We appropriately decorate the buffet, display a framed menu & place cards for each food item. Wet ones & extra paper towels (Up graded disposables place settings or china available)

If it’s full service, for emergency purposes, we bring 5-10% more food than you guaranteed.

After everyone has been served, if more of your menu choices are available, it’s all yours.

After everyone is full, if there are any leftovers, we will pack them up and put them where you request. (We are not responsible for the consumption of leftover food that has not been stored properly)

No, our grills are gas fired units and do not require a fire permit.

Yes, we are fully insured and our employees are properly covered.

Clean-Up & Payment:

We’ll never rush you, but it is likely we will be gone two hours after we begin serving.

We leave the site as clean as we found it. After we have finished serving, if time allows, we will go pick up anything disposable (excluding alcohol related items) on the guest tables and surrounding area.

Payment is due in full on the day of the event unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon. As for gratuity, it can be added to your credit card or offered in cash, which is greatly appreciated for a job well done!
